PKF on the way to Oman to play with Anna Netrebko

PKF - Prague Philharmonia landed in Oman a few hours ago. Tomorrow the orchestra will start practicing for the first concert that is taking place on Friday in Royal Opera House Muscat. One of the performers at this concert is going to be Anna Netrebko, the world-renown sopranist who sang in the most famous halls in the world and who was named one of the most influential people in the world by Time magazine. She will perform next to her singing as well as life partner Yusif Eyvazov, Azerbaijan tenorist with as interesting history (performance for the Verona Opera Festival, Radamès in Aida and more).

At the Friday's concert the couple together with PKF - Prague Philharmonia will perform arias and duets from G. Verdi, G. Puccini, F. Lehár, F. Cilèa, P. Mascagni, A. Ponchielli and more authors whose music is recorded on the Netrebko's a Grammy-nominated album called Verismo.

The orchestra will be conducted by Keri-Lynn Willson, well known guest conductor and former Music Director of National Slovenian Philharmonic.

Spectators of the next concerts can look forward to pieces from F. Mendelssohn-Bartholdy, C. V. Gluck, G. Rossini, W. A. Mozart etc., which will be lead by an american conductor and composer Steven Mercurio, who performed at festival Prague Proms 2016.
