Concerts for Schools

Concerts for Kindergartens and Primary Schools

(children aged 3-7)

The PKF – Prague Philharmonia was the first orchestra to organize educational programmes for children in the Czech Republic. For more than 10 years our concerts for children with their unique programme have ranked amongst the best offered in Prague.

In 2017/2018 season we offer four interactive, playful yet educational concerts guided by imps named Šíma and Lupi by Vladimír Jopek. Our little audience can learn how music influences on our mood, an inspiration that music can find in nature, what is the Czech music like and how composers can be inspired by foreign countries.

The value added at these concerts is smaller amount of children that allows them to learn about music more actively that at the concerts in the Rudolfinum. Other than absorbing music with help of the musicians of the PKF – Prague Philharmonia and the actors that also perform as funny guides through the events, the children also get new skills thanks to creative quizes.
