Stanislav Gallin — piano
Stanislav Gallin (* 1981) studied music high school in St. Petersburg. In 2001 he entered the class of prof. Peter Toperczer at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, from which he graduated in April 2007 with the Tchaikovsky piano concert in the Rudolfinum Dvořák´s Hall. In 2004 he attended a study stay at the Mozarteum in Salzburg led by prof. Peter Lang. In 2012 he finished his doctoral studies at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava, Slovakia in the class of Elena Händler. Stanislav Gallin is a founding member of the Orbis Trio, which during 2009 became one of the most successful European ensembles of its generation when it won the four international competitions, including one of the most prestigious - the International Chamber Music Competition in Hamburg, Germany. He has also attended numerous master classes, including Lazar Berman, Eugen Idjic, Avo Kouyoumjian, Pierre Jasmin and others. As a soloist, he performed with the St. Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra, the Czech Radio Symphony Orchestra, the PKF - Prague Philharmonia, the Moravian Philharmonic Olomouc, the Bruno Walter Symphony Orchestra, the Pilsen Philharmonic, etc. He collaborated with conductors Alexei Anikhanov , Ondřej Vrabec, Peter Vrábel, etc. He is a sought-after chamber and studio player. He has performed at concerts not only in the Czech Republic and Russia, but also in other European countries, USA, Asia and Africa. Since 2009 he has been working at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague as a lecturer at the Piano Cooperation Department.
