Student of prestigious Tchaikovsky Concervatory has amazed music world at the age of 13, winning the Tchaikovsky Competition for Young Musicians. Since then, Malofeev has performed with some of the most recognized orchestras in the world, including Mariinski Theater Orchestra, Orchestra Filarmonica della Scala or Philadelphia Orchestra, cooperating with stellar conductors as Valery Gergiev, Alondra de la Parra or Mikhail Pletnev.
