Are you curious, empathetic and just a little bit #offbeat? Do you like music but you’re not the mainstream type? Then try something classical with the PKF! Students up to the age of 26 can go to all of our concerts from the A, K and S series #forahundred!
Orchestral Series (A)
The PKF’s traditional flagship is the series of orchestral concerts with international soloists and conductors at the Rudolfinum. They’re ideal for those of us who are dreamers and romantics and want to just shut off for a while. This season is full of stories and interesting connections. A classy evening spent ideally with friends! Discounts are available online for tickets from the 3rd category if you have an ISIC card. PS: If you would like to meet the musicians after the concert, just drop us a line!
Chamber Series (K)
The chamber series is for the more profound type who appreciates being up close to the musicians. The family atmosphere of these chamber-music concerts (up to 10 musicians) fits right in with the mystical environment of the baroque refectory of the House for Professed on the Little Side. A romantic stroll home across the nearby Charles Bridge or a visit to one of the charming neighbouring wine bars or pubs could provide the icing on the cake – something which even the musicians are known to do! Discounts available online.
Beauty of Today series of experimental music (S)
This series is for those of you who are not afraid to experiment, who enjoy getting involved and who want to find out what it means to perceive music with all of your senses. These concerts are dedicated to contemporary music and the viewer often becomes a performer, confronted not only by their sensory perception but also by their intellectual potential. The evenings are very informal in character and their motto is relaxation and barrier-free experiences. Discounts available online.
