Mariusz Kwiecień & Zuzana Marková & Arnheidur Eiríksdóttir

Zuzana Marková and Mariusz Kwiecień will perform with singers and a conductor who are adorned not only with talent but also with youth.

The charismatic Polish baritone Mariusz Kwiecień enthusiastically joined the project of the Association of Friends of Musical Talents, whose establishment to support young singers at the start of their careers was initiated by Alena Kunertová, owner of Nachtigall Artist.

Mariusz Kwiecień repeatedly returns to Prague to lead master classes. Now he will meet the young artists directly on the stage of Dvořák Hall. He will be joined by the famous soprano Zuzana Marková, a beloved star of many Italian theaters; she is no less loved by audiences at the Paris Opera, the Vienna State Opera, the Berlin State Opera, in Los Angeles, and at festivals in Wexford and Avignon. And also in Prague!

Talented youth will be represented by Icelandic mezzo-soprano Arnheidur Eiríksdóttir, who is one of the successful faces of Nachtigall Artists and also a soloist of the National Theatre Opera in Prague and the winner of the Thalia Award 2023, as well as soprano Emma Balunová, a student at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava, tenor Daniel Matoušek, a soloist of the National Theatre Opera, who most recently excelled on this stage as Rinuccio in the double bill Don Buoso/Gianni Schicchi, and Ukrainian bass Ivan Lyvch, a soloist of the Slovak National Theatre in Bratislava.

But that's not all! A young talented artist will also stand on the conductor's podium – Alena Hron, a versatile personality who sings, plays the violin and piano, composes, and, above all, is among the most promising representatives of the rising generation of Czech conductors. Together with the excellent Prague Philharmonia orchestra, they will certainly prepare a beautiful evening for us!
