Dear friends,
In 2023, the inspiring, history-oozing spaces of the Lobkowicz Palace at Prague Castle will open for the seventh time to host the next season of the PKF — LOBKOWICZ Donor Series. Thanks to you, the series has blossomed into an unparalleled, refined beauty. It is you who have created the friendly and imaginative atmosphere of this donor series; you are its engine, without which it could not exist. It is therefore a great honour and pleasure for me to thank you from the bottom of my heart and to repeat what I have said many times before, that art cannot flourish without those who support it with love and enthusiasm. Thank you for helping us to care for the values which take us back to the very essence of humanity.
Yours Emmanuel Villaume

The PKF — Prague Philharmonia was established in 1994 by the conductor Jiří Bělohlávek, as the Prague Chamber Philharmonic. Today the PKF — Prague Philharmonia is one of the most highly respected orchestras not only at home, but also around the world, as documented by regular tours abroad and recording projects for internationally renowned labels, such as Deutsche Grammophon and Warner Classics. Since the beginning of 2015—2016 season the PKF has been led by the French conductor Emmanuel Villaume. The orchestra gives more than one hundred concerts a year, of which over a third abroad.
The PKF were the first in the Czech Republic to offer educational programmes for children of pre-school and school age, and the Orchestral Academy for talented young musicians. As a charitable trust, 60% of its income comes from its own activities and donations from corporations and individuals. By purchasing the PKF — LOBKOWICZ subscription you will be supporting this outstanding ensemble. Thank you!
