Meeting with stories from the arts

Four unique evenings to support the artistic activities of the PKF — Prague Philharmonia in close cooperation with the Lobkowicz family.

By purchasing the PKF — LOBKOWICZ Series 2023 subscription you are directly supporting the artistic activity of an outstanding, progressive and independent ensemble, one of the greatest Czech cultural phenomena since the Velvet Revolution and an important representative of Czech culture abroad, the PKF — Prague Philharmonia orchestra.

The seventh year of the PKF — LOBKOWICZ Donor Series will sparkle with a virtuosity and will present the greatest talents from the contemporary world music scene again. We are inviting you to the intimate and special ambience of the Lobkowicz Palace at Prague Castle which enables the PKF — Prague Philharmonia to share its artistic enthusiasm and vision with those who are fascinated by the never-ending stories of the art. In 2023 you will be able to enjoy four evenings in an unrepeatable atmosphere, surrounded by the unique Lobkowicz collections, during which we will recount some fascinating stories about the search for beauty and harmony in the art and in the whole society. We will lead you straight to the heart of the PKF — Prague Philharmonia orchestra.

The PKF — LOBKOWICZ subscription has been designed as a donor series. By purchasing a subscription or the single tickets you are directly supporting the artistic activities of the PKF — Prague Philharmonia orchestra.

Emmanuel Villaume
Music Director and Chief Conductor of the PKF — Prague Philharmonia

Dear friends,

In 2023, the inspiring, history-oozing spaces of the Lobkowicz Palace at Prague Castle will open for the seventh time to host the next season of the PKF — LOBKOWICZ Donor Series. Thanks to you, the series has blossomed into an unparalleled, refined beauty. It is you who have created the friendly and imaginative atmosphere of this donor series; you are its engine, without which it could not exist. It is therefore a great honour and pleasure for me to thank you from the bottom of my heart and to repeat what I have said many times before, that art cannot flourish without those who support it with love and enthusiasm. Thank you for helping us to care for the values which take us back to the very essence of humanity.

Emmanuel Villaume

Special Experience from Supporting the Best in the Arts

The PKF — Prague Philharmonia was established in 1994 by the conductor Jiří Bělohlávek, as the Prague Chamber Philharmonic. Today the PKF — Prague Philharmonia is one of the most highly respected orchestras not only at home, but also around the world, as documented by regular tours abroad and recording projects for internationally renowned labels, such as Deutsche Grammophon and Warner Classics. Since the beginning of 2015—2016 season the PKF has been led by the French conductor Emmanuel Villaume. The orchestra gives more than one hundred concerts a year, of which over a third abroad.

The PKF were the first in the Czech Republic to offer educational programmes for children of pre-school and school age, and the Orchestral Academy for talented young musicians. As a charitable trust, 60% of its income comes from its own activities and donations from corporations and individuals. By purchasing the PKF — LOBKOWICZ subscription you will be supporting this outstanding ensemble. Thank you!

The subscription for 1 person costs
28,000 CZK including VAT.

The subscription covers all four concerts, a reserved seat in the hall and entry to all parts of the evening. The subscription is transferable.

Part of the subscription fee can be paid in the form of a donation given directly to support the activities of PKF — Prague Philharmonia. We also offer the possibility of advertising for companies.
