Children's Club Notička

What is Notička (Little Note)?

Notička is the oldest children's musical free-time group in Prague, which was founded at the PKF - Prague Philharmonia in 2007. It organizes 5-6 weekend meetings a year for children aged 4-14. Since 2012, there is also a Notička Preparatory School for children from 3 years old, which is open to parents too!

What makes Notička unique?

Notička differs significantly from similar activities in Prague because it combines music with many other artistic professions in a very sensitive and creative way for children. The motto of Notička is to surprise and introduce children to worlds they do not get to in everyday life. The meetings are always very interactive. They try to stimulate creativity and a natural interest in children not only in music, but also in other artistic or spiritual directions. The very carefully selected teachers often become friends for life!

How does Notička work?

  • Membership is always for one calendar year.
  • The price of the Notička Preparatory School is CZK 1500.
  • The basic price of membership is CZK 2500.
  • The price includes a guaranteed minimum of 5 meetings per year.
  • Significant discounts are available for siblings.
  • The duration of one club meeting is between 1.5-5 hours depending on the age or nature of the children, the activities are alternated and there is also a snack! Qualified teachers, tutors and lecturers look after the children in the absence of their parents.

Notička is for everyone

"My boy has no musical ear and prefers to play football!" Wrong! Just for this little athlete, Notička is an excellent choice. It does not force children to do anything, but in an engaging way it inspires and provokes them to think creatively, which, as is widely known, has a beneficial effect on the development of the child's brain. And what do you know, maybe there is a new Antonín Dvořák slumbering in your footballer! In any case, Notička is for all children without distinction. It helps talented children to stimulate and develop their talents, while it educates other children and teaches them to love the world of art as a natural part of life.
